HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19279ORDINANCE NO . ~~ ~' AN GRDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FCR THE CITY GF EUGENE FDR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY ~., 1984, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1985; and DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~4T5: Section ~.. That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the year beginning July 1, 1954, and ending June 30, 1985, as set forth in Section 2 below, is hereby adapted. i Section Z. That this supplemental budget is prepared in accordance with QRS 294.48~(1a)~a), which authorized the formulation of a su lemental budget resulting from "an occurance or conditio pp _ n which had not been ascer twined at the time of the preparation of a budget for the current ear which requires a change in financial tannin ." y p g Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with QRS 294,480~3~, does it. not authorize any increased levy of taxes " and a ro ri pp p atlons for this supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue. Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the purpose of protecting the public health, saftey and welfare, and therefore an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Ma or.
