AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE Roots TAX SUBCOM-
MITTEE; AMENDING SECTION 2.013 OF THE EUGENE
CODE, 1971; REPEALING SECTIONS 2.071 2.072,
AND 2.073 of THAT CODE; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The table of boardsr committees and commissions
set forth in subsection ~ 1 ~ of Section 2.013 of the Eugene Code,
i 1971, is hereby amended by deleting the Room Tax Subcommittee
therefrom.
Section 2. Sections 2.071 ~ 2.072 ~ nd 2.0?3 of the Eugene
Cade, 1971, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That the matters contained herein concern the
public welfare, and in order to eliminate confusion or conflict
in the duties or responsibilities of City boards or commissions,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City
Council and approval by the Mayor.
