HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdmin Order 53-90-21 CITY FILE NO. 57, - qo- '7-/__., ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER of the City Manager of the City of Eugene CONCERNING FEES FOR PROCESSING TECHNICAL CODE APPLICATIONS The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: 1. provisions of Chapter 8 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and section 2.020 of that Code authorize the City Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of municipal property, and licenses and permits. 2. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on October 5, 1990 I notified the Mayor and city Council that I intended to establish fees associated with the technical codes adopted in Chapter 8 of the Eugene Code, 1971 as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached thereto as Exhibit A and incorporated therein by reference. The Notice was also posted in several City office locations on October 5, 1990. No written comments were received within the time or in the manner required by the Notice. 3. I find that the proposed fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council, comparable to the fees established in other jurisdictions for processing such applications, within the limits established by the State of Oregon in each of the technical codes, and necessary in order to defray the City I s cost in processing applications and performing the services in connection therewith. On the basis of these findings, I order that: 1. The fees associated with the technical codes adopted in Chapter 8 of the Eugene Code, 1971 as set forth on Exhibit A hereto which is incorporated herein by reference, are hereby established as the fees to be charged for the services set forth therein. 2. The fees established herein shall be applicable to all such services performed after the date this order is filed with the City Recorder as indicated below.
