ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
of the
Director of Planning & Development Department
City of Eugene, Oregon
The Director of the Planning & Development Department of the City of
Eugene finds that:
A. In addition to the duties and responsibilities authorized or re-
quired to be performed by me as Director of the City's Planning and Develop-
ment Department under provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, Micheal D.
Gleason, City Manager of the City of Eugene, has by Administrative Order
delegated to me the duties and responsibilities to be performed by the City
Manager under Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, except:
1. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any rules author-
ized therein;
2. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any fees or fee
schedules authorized therein; and
3. The City Manager's decision making authority with respect
to appeals and determinations to implement legal proceedings on behalf
of the City under Sections 9.1182 or 9.1186 of the Eugene Code, 1971.
B. That Administrative Order further specifically authorized me to in
turn delegate any of the duties or responsibilities delegated to me therein.
C. It would be more efficient, and in the public interest to delegate
those duties and responsibilities as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE DIRECTOR OF THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
EUGENE ORDERS AND DIRECTS THAT:
1. The above findings are adopted.
2. The duties, responsibilities, and authority delegated to me as
Director of Planning & Development by the City Manager to carry out the City
Manager's duties and responsibilities under Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code,
1971, except those duties specifically reserved to the City Manager as re-
ferred to in Finding A above, are hereby delegated to the Building and Permit
Services Division Manager.
3. Upon finding it would be more efficient and in the pu blic interest
to do so, the Building and Permit Services Division Manager may in turn dele-
gate any of the duties and responsibilities delegated to him/her herein to
such person as he/she considers qualified to perform the duty or assume the
responsibility.
