ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
of the
Building & Permit Services Division Manager
Planning & Development Department
City of Eugene, Oregon
The Manager of the Building & Permit Services Division of the Planning &
Development Department of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. The Director of the City's Planning and Development Department of the
City of Eugene, as the City Manager's designee, has by Administrative order
delegated me the duties and responsibilities to be performed by the City
Manager under Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, except:
1. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any rules authorized therein;
2. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any fees or fee schedules
authorized therein; and
3. The City Manager's decision making authority with respect to ap-
peals and determinations to implement legal proceedings on behalf of the City
under Sections 9.1182 or 9.1186 of the Eugene Code, 1971.
B. That Administrative Order further specifically authorized me to in turn
delegate any of the"duties or responsibilities delegated to me therein.
C. It would be more efficient, and in the public interest to delegate some
of those duties and responsibilities as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE MANAGER OF THE BUILDING AND PERMIT SERVICES DIVISION OF THE PLANNING &
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF EUGENE ORDERS AND DIRECTS THAT:
1. The above findings are adopted.
2. The duties, responsibilities, and authority delegated to me by the
Director of Planning & Development as the designee of the City Manager, to
carry out the City Manager's duties and responsibilities under Chapter 9 of
the Eugene Code, 1971, except any of the duties specifically reserved to the
City Manager as referred to in Finding A above, are hereby delegated to the
Code Compliance Manager.
3. Upon finding it would be more efficient and in the public
interest to do so, the Code Compliance Manager may in turn delegate any of
the duties and responsibilities delegated to him/her herein to such person or
persons as he/she considers qualified to perform the duty or assume the re-
sponsibility.
