An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described

THE CITY aF EUGENE DQES 4~DAZN AS FoLLaws:
Section 1. The City Council of the City o~ Eugene herein ini-
bates the vacation proceedings on its own authCrity without peti-
tion ar consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute,
of the above described street,
Section Z. A hearing sha~.l be h.e~.d upon the proposal to vacate
the street as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held on the
2znd day of April,, 1981, at noon Pacific Standard Time of said date,
at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which time
all persons will be heard upon objections or suggestions with regard
to the vacatian, and at said time the Council will provide for the
vacation of the street or deny such vacatian, and in case the vaca-
tiara is made, will provide and make provision for any da~~~ages sus--
tamed by local assessment.
Section 3. The City recorder i,s hereby directed to immediately
publish once each week far four consecutive weeps in a newspaper pub-
lished in Eugene, Lane County, oregon, notice of the proposed vaca-
tion. The notice shall give a description of the area to be vacated
as herein set out; state the date when this ordinance was passed, the
name of any petitioners petitioning for the vacation, and the date
when the petition, together with any objections or remonstrances which
may be made in writing and filed with the Recorder of the City of

or on the area proposed to be uacated.

of the City of Eugene, held at the Council Chambers at City Hall,
Eugene, Oregon, on the 11th. day of March, 1981, there were passed
by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Eugene,
