AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET;
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1980,
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 19$1; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
THE CITY COUNCIL DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:.
Section 1, That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon
for the year commencing July 1, 1981, and ending June 30, 1981, as set forth in
Section 2 below, be, and the same is hereby adopted.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene, Orregon, does
hereby make the separate appropriation for each purpose, as detailed and item-
ized herein, pursuant to the provisions and in the manner provided by law as
follows:

Sectian 3. That this supplemental budget is prepared in accordance with
4RS 294.484~~}~a7, which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental bud et

resulting from "An occurence or condition which had not been ascertained at the
time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which re uires a

change in financial planning."
Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with ORS 294.454~3~, does "...
not authorize any increased 1 evy of taxes :" and appropriations for this su 1 e-
pp
rental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue,
Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the ur-
p
pose of protecting the public health, safety, and welfare, and therefore an
emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective
