THE CITY OF EC~GENE DOES ORDAIN AS Ro~~I,o~S ; Section 1. Section 9.01,5 0~ t~~ie Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended by adding in alphabetical order therein the following: 9.015 Solar access. An unobstructed exposure to avail-- ablz solar radiation during daytime hours for the pur- pose of allowing solar radiation to be used to meet a portion of a building's energy requirements. Section 2. Subsection ~4~ of Section 9.030 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended by relettering subsections fib} , ~c} , ~d} and (e) to (c) , (.d~ , (e) and' (f) respectively, and adding a new subsec- tion fib} thereto, to provide: 9.030 Minor Partition Procedure. ~4} 4 b _. ~'nless not feaslb,~e because of property size, con~i.guration, ore~;tation, vegetation, or topography, the minor partition shah. allow maximum solar access to south--facing building walls on the shortest da of y the year between l0 a.m. and 3 p.m. Section 3. Section 7.
