Eng Costs Estimates Intersections 51.24 512.40 563.64 188/9 The City Council has established the method of calculating local improvement assessments in Sections 7.17~J through 7.180 of the Eugene City Code; and Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly and regularly given i~n compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the Eugene City Cade, and the City Gauncil has heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and has fully considered them. THE CITY OF EUCE~~E DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the fatal cost of Paving, sanitary sewer and storm sewer within and adjacent to Shasta Gardens 3rd Addition. in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ ~1 143.38 , aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively, Section 2. ~Tha~ the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine and assess each. lot and part of tat being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: Ordinance - 2 IS~i9 Section 3. That the City Council of the City of ~uc~ene dogs hereby determine that each parcel of land ar 1at hereinbefare described ~s s~ecifical1y benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and~does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of tats or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City liens, a statement thereof containing the following: ~"irst: A description of each tat, part of lot or acreage properly liable far such improvement. second: The name of the owner ar reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown. ~~hird: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the said docket of City liens. Section 4. That these provisions concern the public welfare because of the necessity to promptly record and ascertain the amount of each assessment and the lien arising therefrom, and the need to promptly notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately 1 Capon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
