ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668
through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority
and responsibility,~subject to the limitations contained therein, to change
the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con-
formance with the General Plan; there i s a publ is need for the change in zone;
and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the
property;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes
of August 11, 1981 and the Planning Commission minutes of Augustr 11, 1981
for the reasons set forth therein, and

Section 1. As provided by Section 9.275 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the
zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the following change of zone:
Portion of Tax Lot lOl--Assessor's Map 17-03-16, located generally east
of Kinney Loop between Coburg Road and Game Farm Road, north of Beltline.
Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, and Timber-Raising
District to R-31PD Multiple-Family Residential District with Planned
Unit Development Procedures,
Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed
to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes.
