AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.275, and .' ~_:-~
9.6fi8 through 9.684 of the Eugene Cade, 1911, ~ the City Council has the authori ty
and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change .~T:~...
the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; . ~ ~ ..:
Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and ~ ~.
this City Council , the request for zone change c1 assi f i cati on i s i n conformance
with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the
' public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own
the` specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff - ~ ,
notes of November 3, 1981, and Planning Commission minutes of November 3, 1981',
for the reasons set forth therein, and =
THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ~ ~~
Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.fi25 and 9.215 of the Eugene Code, ~~ .
1911, t e zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule ,~
of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district:
Tax Lot 300 and a portion of 100--Assessor's Map 18-03-04w3 1, as more
particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located east of Capital
Drive and west of Floral Hill Drive:
Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City
RA~PD Suburban Resi denti a] District t~i;th Planned Unit Devel o~Oment - •

Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall
became effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary
Commission annexing territory. described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
Section 3. The Planning Director is hereby authorized and directed
to cause the zoning map, the sign district map, the schedule of sign district
classification changes attached to Chapter 8, and .the zoning ordinance schedule. .
