AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING~PARRING FEES; AMENDING
SECTION 5.285 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The monthly permit parking fees for the years
1982, 1983, and 1984 as set forth in subsection ~5} of Section
5.285 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, are hereby amended, and the last
sentence of that subsection is amended, to provide:

holidays notwithstand~.ng other provisions of this chapter.
Section 2, Except as herein specifically amended, all other
provisions of subsection ~5} of Section 5.285 of the Eugene Code,
1971, remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. Pursuant to the provisions of subsection ~5} of
Section 5.285 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the fees as presently es-
tablished are to become effective on January 1st of the year indi-
cated. It is in the public interest that the provisions contained
herein become immediately effective and therefore, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by
the Mayor.
