AN ORDINANCE ELECTING TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE OREGON LIQUOR CONTROL
COMMISSION ACCOUNT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING TUNE 3~,
1983, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Eugene, Oregon, for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1983 elects to receive distribution of funds through
the Oregon Liquor Control Commission Account pursuant to Oregon Revised
Statutes,
Section Z.. The Finance Officer :.is hereby directed to file a copy
of this Ordinance with the Executive Department of the State of Oregon
as prescribed by Oregon Revised Statutes.
Section 3. Since election to receive state revenue sharing funds
for the fiscal year ending June 3Q, 1983 is required b_y law to be made
by the City Council by enactment of an ordinance and filed with the
Executive Department of the State of Oregon, it is necessary to the
welfare of the City of Eugene that said filing be made without delay,
and therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance sha11 take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
