HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 18921ORDINANCE N0. ~] AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1951, AND ENDING JUNE 3t~, 1982; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS;. Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the City ofEugene, Oregon, far the year beginning July 1, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982, . as set forth in Section 2 below, is hereby adopted. Section 2 . That this supplemental budget i s prepared i n accordance with oRS 294.480 1 } ~ a} , which authorizes the formulation of a suppl emental bud et g resulting from "an occurence or condition which had not been ascertained at the time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which re wires a chap e q g in~ financia1 planning." - Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with oRS Z94.480~3}, does "...not authari ze any increased levy of taxes :" and appropriates for thi s supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue. Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the ur ose p p of protecting the public health, safety, and welfare, and therefore an emer enc 9 y i s dec1 ared to exist, and this ordinance shat 1 become effective immed i at ely upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
