AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET;
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1981,
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1982; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:.
Secti on ~ 1. That the supplement al budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon,
for the year beginning Ju]y 1, 1981, and ending June 30, 1982, as set forth
i n Sect ion 2 be 1 ow, i s hereby adopted .
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does
hereby make the separate appropriation for each purpose, as detailed and item-
ized herein, pursuant to the provisions and in the manner provided by law as
follows:

Section 3. That this supplemental budget is prepared in accordance with
ORS Z94.4$O~l~~a}, which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental budget
resulting from "An occurence or condition which had not been ascertained at the
time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which requires a change
in financial planning."
~ ection 4. This ordinance, in accordance with ORS 294.4$033, does
" . .not authorize any increased levy of taxes:" and appropriates for this
supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue.

Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the purpose
of protecting the pub 1 i c health, safety, and welfare, and therefore an emergency
i s declared to exist, and this ordinance shat 1 become effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
