CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
AMENDMENT TO SUBSECTION (1) OF PARK RULE 1.010:
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Pursuant to the authority of Section 2.812 et seq. of the Eugene Code,
1971, the Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of Eugene hereby
amends subsection (1) of Park Rule 1.010, to read and provide as follows:
1.010
Prohibited Activities. In addition to any other prohibi-
tions contained in these rules, the following activities are prohibi-
ted within a park area or mall:
(g) Organized group events such as picnics, weddings, etc.,
within the Hendrick's Park Rhododendron Garden section, in order
to preserve the tranquility of the area.
The Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation hereby declares
that the foregoing amendment to Park Rule 1.010 is necessary for the preser-
vat ion of the welfare and safety of the citizens of the City of Eugene and
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Rule as amended
shall be effective on and after the date hereof.
