DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
AMENDMENT TO SUBSECTION (2) OF PARK RULE 1.000:
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Pursuant to the authority of Section 2.812 et seq. of the Eugene
Code, 1971, the Department of Parks and Recreation of the City of Eugene
hereby amends subsection (2) of Park Rule 1.000, to read and provide as
fo 11 ows :
1.000 Property. No person other than law enforcement officers or
authorized personnel may enter or remain in any park area between the
daily closing time (12:01 am) and the daily opening time (6:00 am)
except as specially permitted by the director. No motorized vehicle
is permitted beyond the summit access intersection of the Skinner Butte
road between 10:01 pm and the daily opening time (6:00 am) except as
provided in section 1.030 (6) of the park rules.
The Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation hereby declares
that the foregoing amendment to Park Rule 1.000 is necessary for the preser-
vation of the welfare and safety of the citizens of the City of Eugene and
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Rule as amended
shall be effective on and after the date hereof.
