AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGNS ON PARKING FACI-
LITIES; AMENDING SECTIQN 5.540 OF THE EUGENE
CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY..
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5.540 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby
amended by adding a new subsection ~.4~ thereto, to read and provide:
5.540 Si ns Re wired for Parkin Facilities Before Towing
Unauthorized Vehicles.
~4~ Upon written approual of the city manager or his
or her designate, the size of the signs and lettering required
by this section may be modified pro~rided the modification gives
reasonable notice to vehicle operators seeking a place to park.
Section 2. That the matters Captained herein affect the public
welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist, and this Ordinance shall became effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Council and approval. by the Mayor.
