Therefore, Ordinance No. 15214 should be repealed and the zoning designation changed as reflected herein. ~____ Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 9.27$ and 9,66$ through 9.6$4 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the 1 ir~itatians contained therein, to change the zoning cl assi f ica- tion of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the foregoing, the City Counci 1 hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes of Apri 1 11, 1918, ana the Planning Comr~~i ss i on Phi notes of A ri 1 11 1978 for the reasons set forth p there n, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 18214, adopted by the City Council on June 26, 191$, i s hereby repealed . Section 2. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the Zoning Map and the zoning Ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the following change of zone: Tax Lots 201, 204, 205, 207, 248, and 209--Assessor's Nlap 17-04-33 and Tax Lot 4OOh--Assessor's Map 17-04-34, as mare particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located at the northeast corner of West 11th Avenue and Beltline Road. Change of zone from M-2 Lignt Industrial District and M~-J Neavy Industrial District and C-2/pD Community Commercial District with Planned Unit Development procedures to C-2/PD Community Commercial District with Planned Unit Development procedures. 5ectian 3. The Planning Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the Zoning Map and the Zoning Ordinance schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1911, to show the foregoing change of c ] assi f i cati on of" area and to note ,thereon the rule with respect to building i n the appropriate classification.-.
