ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP DF THE CITY DF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of DRS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668
through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authorit
y
and responsibility, subject to the ]imitations contained therein, to chap e

9 o a property w~th~n the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this City Council, the request for zone change cl ossification i s in con~-
form once with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone;
and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the
property;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes
of March 9, 19$2, and the Planning Commission minutes of March 9, 1982, the Cit

p 982, and the Planning Commission/City Council
findings and minutes of May 17, 1982, for the reasons set forth therein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the
zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to ref 1 ect the f o 11 owl ng change of zone
Tax Lots 2300 and 2301--Assessor's Map 17~03~36-2 2, as more particularly
described on the attached Exhibit A, located on the southwest rside of 7th
Avenue Highway 99N} between 5th Avenue and 1th Place:
Change of zone from M-3 Heavy Industrial District to C-2 Community
Commercial District.
Section 2. The Planning Director is hereby authorized and directed
