AN 4RDTNANCE CONCERNING CHARGES FOR OFF-STREET
P.ARYTNG; AMENDING SECTION 5.285 OF THE EUGENE
CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The first sentence of subsection ~5 } of Section
5.285 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended to read and pro-
vide:

~5} Except for the airport as defined in section
2.415 of this code, the following ~.inimum and maximum charges
are hereby established for off-street parking facilities to
be effective January 1st of the year designated unless other-
wise expressly provided.
Section 2. That the matters contained herein concern the
public welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby de-
Glared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
