RECITALS: The City Council of the City of £rugene did by Resolution No. 3541 , adopted ~ J~j ~ ~- 19 81 , determine to construct a storm sewer to serve Capitol f~~anor Subdi vi si a of Cal Youn Road from n X500 feet north g 300 feet east to 100 feet 4vest of ~Ji 11a1<enzie Raad, thence north approximately 60 feet to the drainage ditch} The City Council authorized the execution of a contract for the construction of the local improvements on AU ust 10 , 19 g1 > . The local improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and applicable provisions of the Eugene City Code and the cost thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be: Item ~ . Grdinance - 1 P.W.ENGR.ADN~ G7O 2/82 19006 The City Council has established the method of ca1culatinq local improvement assessments in Sections 1.170 through 1.180 of the Eugene City Code; and Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of the Eugene City Code, and the City Council has. heard any and all protests, . objections and remonstrances thereto and has fully considered them. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS EOL~.OWS: Section ~, That the total cast of storm sewer to serve Capitol Manor Subdivision (500 feet north of Cal Young Road from 300 feet east to 100 feet west of Willakenzie Road, thence north approximately GO feet to the drainage ditch} in the City of Eugene, is the. sum of ~ 28,b41.83 , aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set apposite, respectively. Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or tat hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City ~.iens, a statement thereof containing the following: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement. Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown. Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the said docket of City Eiens. Section 4.
