HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 19010ORDINANCE N0. ~t2~~ AN ORDINANCE ADDPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CITY DF EUGENE FDR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1982, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1983; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE CITY OF EUGENE DDES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the City of Eugene, Oregon, for the year beginning Ju 1 y ~, 1982, and ending June 30, 1983, as set forth in Section 2 below, is hereby adopted. Section 2. That this suppl ement a1 budget i s prepared i n accordance with ORS 294.450 a~, which authorizes the formulation of a supplemental budget resulting from "An occurrence or condition which had not been ascertained at the time of the preparation of a budget for the current year which requires a change in financial planning." Section 4. This ordinance, in accordance with DRS 294.48D~3~, does " . . ,not author i ze any increased levy of taxes," and appropriations for th i s supplemental budget shall be funded from previously uncommitted revenue. Section 5. The provisions of this ordinance are necessary for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety, and welfare, and therefore an emergency i s dec 1 ared to exist, and this ordinance shal 1 becor~e effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
