An Ordinance vacating the following described street, to-wit:
The North 20 feet of the following described
property:
Beginning at a point which bears North 31°26'
32" East, 25.85 feet from a Brass Cap marking
the West 1/4 career of Section 16, Township 18
South, Range 03 West of the Willamette Meridian;
said point belting the intersection of the North-
erly margin of South Shasta Loop and the North-
easterly margin of Barber Drive; thence North
28°53'21" East, 667.93 feet to a point in the
center of a 40.00 foot public road; thence
along the centerline of said road South 69°45'
55" East, ~ 215.17 feet; thence South 26 ° 37' S1"
West, 554. ?0 feet to a point on first said North-
erly margin of said South Shasta Loop; thence
along said margin North 65°52'33" West, 4.24 feet;
thence South 86°49'39" West, 275.31 feet to the
point of beginning. Hartley SV 82-1}
On the 14th day of July, 1982, the City Council of the City of
Eugene passed ordinance No. 15996 setting a hearing to be held on
the 8th day of September, 1982, at the Council Chambers at City Hall,
Eugene, Oregon, at which time and place protests and remonstrances
could be heard as to the proposed vacation of the above described
street.
Notice was duly and regularly given of the hearing and a hear-
ing was held pursuant to the ordinance at the Council Chambers, at
City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, on the 8th~day of September, 1982, at
Noon, Pacific Daylight Time, and at said time and place the Council
heard all objections.
All persons owning property abutting upon the street to be va-
sated have consented to the vacation and applied for the same.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DQES ORDAIN AS FOLLQWS:
Sectiion_ _ 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that

due and regular notice of the hearing was published and posted as
by law required and no valid objections have been made at the hear-
ing or filed. The consent of the owners of the abutting property
has been duly and regularly filed in the proceedings and the public
interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of the street.
Section 2. The hearing was held on the Sth day of Septembers
1952, at noon, Pacific Daylight Time, at the Council Chambers, City
Hall, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and all matters necessary to be
done in the premises have been duly and regularly completed.
Section 3. The hereinabove described street is hereby vacated,
and the street so vacated shall revert pursuant to the statutes of the
State of Oregon.
Section 4. The City Recorder is hereby directed to file a cer~
tified copy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County,
Oregons together with a map or plat of said property and a certi~-
f ied copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County
Assessor and another certified copy shall be filed with the Lane
County Surveyor.
