RECITALS: The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution Na. 3484 ,adopted March 1$ 19.w$1,, determine to construct sanitary sower and storm se~~er to serve Thornebrook Subdivision and the area within 160 feet of the north and east boundaries of Tharnebrook Subdivision The City Council authorized the execution of a contract far the construction of the local improvements on ~ , l9 $~ ; The local improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and a livable PP provisions of the Eugene City Code and the cost thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be: Item i . THE CITY OF EUGEPIE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the total cost of sanitary sewer and storm sewer to serve ThornebrookiSubdivisian and the area within l60 feet of the north and east boundaries of Thornebroak Subdivision i n the City of Eugene, i s the sum of ~_ ~ 46, 586. ~.]. , aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set~appasite, respectively. ~ . Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the said docket of City Liens. Section 4. That these provisions concern the public welfare because of the necessity to promptly record and ascertain the amount of each assessment and the lien arising therefrom, and the need to promptly notify affected property owners, and therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance sha11 become effective immediately upon its passage by the Council and apprava) by the Mayor.
