AN ORDINAt,TCE CONCERNING MANAGEMENT OF CITY O~rTNED
PRQPERTY, ADDING A NEW SECTION 2.019 TO THE -
EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY QF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Anew section is hereby added to the Eugene Cade,
1971, to be numbered and provide:
2.19 Cit Real Pra ert Management. The city manager is
x authorized, as agent for the council and on behalf
of the city, to grant temporary or permanent permits ar ease-
ments across city-awned real property, provided he first
determines that such permit or easement will not unreasonably
disrupt the intended public use of the property.
Section 2. That~the matters contained herein concern the
public welfare and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist, and this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
