AN ORDINANCE COI~'CERNING USER CHARGE RATES;
REPEALING PORTIOx~7S OF ORDINANCE NO . l3 6 5 7
ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUidC2L ON SEPTEMBER
2 9 , 19 6~4 ; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY .
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
Section 7.~~~ of the Eugene Cade, 1971 provides that user charge
rates shall be established by Resolution of the Council, and there-
fore, those portions of ordinance No. 1365? adopted by the Common
Council on September 29, 1964 that apply to Airport facilities user
charge rates should be repealed; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Those portions of ordinance No. 13657 adopted by
the Common Council on September z9, 1964 that apply to user charge
rates for the Airport facilities are hereby repealed.
Section 2. It is in the best public interest that the provisions
contained herein become immediately effective so as to provide continu-
ity in the establishment and collection of city charges, and there-
fore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City
Council and approval by the Mayor.
