AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN
DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS Z27. X15, Section 8.813, 9, Z78 and
9, 6b8 through 9, 584 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci 1 has the
authority and responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the 1 i mi tati ons contained therein to
change the zoning and sign district classification of property within the Ci t
of Eugene; y
• Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mi tied therew~ th, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and
this Counci 1, the request far zone change and sign district than a of cl assi-

• NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Counci 1 hereby adapts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes
of May 1, 1979, and the Planning Commission minutes of Ma 1 1979 for the
reasons set forth there.' y '

Section 1. As provided by Section 9.18 and 8.625 of the Eu ene Code

Section 2. The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and
di recte to cause the zoning map, the sign district map, the schedule of sign
district classification changes attached to Chapter S, and the zoning ordinance
. schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 197, to
show the foregoing change of classification of area and to note thereon the rule
with respect to building i n the appropriate c1 ass i fi cat i on.
