AMENDING THE BONING MAP OF THE CITY 4F EU=~E~~E, OREGON
THE CITY GOJ~CIL GF THECITY GF EUGENE FI~~DS Tu~T:
Pursuant to the provisions of DRS 227, 215, Sect ion 9.?78 and 9.558 .
through 9.584 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority
and res pons i bi 1 i ty, s ubJ ect to the 1 i mi t at i ons contai red therein, to change
the zoning c1 assi fi cati on of property within the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, the materi a1 s trans-~
1 mitted th~~re.with, and the eviBence~ presented b~fare th.e a1 anni ng Comr~i ssi on and
this Counci ~ , the reguest for zone change c~~assi fi cat ~ or i s i n conformance with
the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the chance i n zone; and ~ the publ i c
need can best be served by c.hangi ng the cl assi fi cati o~ of the property;

Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the ~.
speci f7 c affirmative findings cantai ned i n the P1 anni ~g Department Staff Notes
of Apri 1 1O and May 2I, ~ 19T9, and Pi anni ng Commi ssi an minutes of Apri 1 14, for
the reasons set forth therein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE ODES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provi Bed by Section 9.278 . of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the
zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to .ref 1 ec t ,the fa11 awi ng change of zone:
