AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THESIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY DF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS ZZ7.Z15 and Section 8.813 through 8.845 of the Eugene Code, 197'1, the City Council has the authority .and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the sign district classifications of .property within the City ~f Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commi ssi an, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this Council , the request for sign district change of classification i s i n conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign .Code-as required by Section 8.834 of the Eugene Cade,-1971. NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes of June 5~, 1979, and the Planning Commission minutes of June 5, 1979, for the reasons set forth herein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOI~S: Section 1. As provided by Section 8.625 of the Eugene Code, 197, the sign district map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of sign district Tax Lot 5640-Assessor's Map 17-03M.30-4 4 Zoned RP Residential Profes~ si anal District } , as mare particularly described on the attached Exhi hi t "A," located west of the intersection of 4th Avenue and Pearl Street. Sign District Boundary Change from Industrial District to Residential District. Section 2.
