AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE,
OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL aF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of aRS 2~1.~15 and, Section 8,813 through
8.545 of the Eugene Cade, 1911, the City Council has the authority
and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change
the sign district classifications of property within the City of .Eugene;
Based upan the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans
emitted therewith.; and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and
this Council , the request for sign district change of classification i s i n
conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Section.
8,830 of the Eugene Code, 1971,

Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own
.the specific affirmative findings. cantai ned i n the Planning Department Staff
Notes of June 5, 1919,. and the Planning Commission minutes of~ June 5, 1919, for
the reasons set forth herein, and

Section 1. As provided by Section 8, ~Z5 of the Eugene Code, 1871, the
sign district map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby
. amended to reflect the following change of sign district :
