AN ORDINA~#CE CQNCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND A~~ENDING. THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN
DIS.TRIGT MAP OF TUE. CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 2~7. ~~5, Section 8,.813, 9. X75 and
~.bb8 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 197I, the City Council has the
author ~ tv and re~ponsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the 1 imi tati ons contained therein, to
change the Lani ng and sign district classification of property wi thi n~ the City
of Euge~e~

mi tied there~i th g and .the ev de.~ce presented before the Planning Commi ssi an and

. change i n zone; and the public need can .best be served by changing the classi-
f i cati on of the property;
NOI~f, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
speci fi t off i rr~ati ve findings conta~ ned i n the Planning Department Staff Notes
of July 3, 199, and tho P1 anni ng Commi ssi an minutes of July 3, I979 for the
reasons set forth therein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section ~. As provided by Section 9.18 and 5.625 of the Eugene Code,
~97I , the zoning rnap, the sign ,district map, and the zoning ardi Hance schedul e
of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district:
Tax Lot 1100--Assessor's Map 11-04-25-4 1, as more parti cul arl,y described
on the attached Exhibit A, located south of Clark Avenue between Jackson
and Van Suren streets:
Change of zone from. M-~ ~ Li ght Industrial District to G-1 Neighborhood
Comrnercia~ District and sign change of sign district from Highway-Oriented
District to Outlying Gammerci al District.

Section 2. The Planning Director be, and he i s hereby authorized and
d~ recte to cause the zoning map, the s~ gn district map, the schedule of sign
district classification changes attached to Chapter H, and ~ the ~ zoni ng ordinance
schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to
show the foregoing change of classification of area and to note thereon the rule
with respect ~ to ~ bui l di ng i n the appropriate classification.
