ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP of THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY DF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 9.278 and 9.668
through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authorit

and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to than e

the zoning classif~cat~on of property within the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance
with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the
public need can best be served by changing the classification of the ra ert
p p y~
NOS, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes
of July 10, 1979 and the Planning Commission minutes of July 10, 1979 far the
reasons set forth therein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971 the
zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereb
amended to reflect the followin than y

changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to show the fore oin
