AN ORDINANCE CoP1CERNI~lG :.LAND USE CLASSZF~CATION AND
AMENDING THE Z4NI~NG MAP DF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCLL QF THE CITY DF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 9.278 and 9.668
through 9.684 o~f the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority
and response b~ ~ ~ ty, , subs ect to the ~ imi tati ons cantai ned therein, to change
the zoning classification of property within the City of Eu ene;

~Based~. upon... the report ~f the Pi anni n~ Co~mi s~sion, the materials trans
mi tted ~the~ew~th, ~.nd the evi~dance presented before the P1 anni ng Commission
and ~ thi s Counci 1, the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance
with the General ~Pl an; there i s a pubs i c neeu for the change i n zone; and the
public need can beast be ser-~ed by changing the classification of the property,

specific affirmative findings con tai ned i n the Pl anni n De artment staff Hates

reasons set forth therein, ..and .

Secti vn 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eu ene Code 1971 the
z~on~ ng map and ene zone ng ord~ Hance schedule of d~ strict changes are hereby
amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone:
Tax Lots 12900 and 13200-Assessor's Map 11-04-36~-2 4, as more arti-~

of West 10th Avenue, between Chambers and Grant streets:
Change of zone from RA Suburban Residensi tal District to C--Z~SR Community
