TNG SECT~aN 3.255 OF THE EUGENE CaDE, 197.; AND
DECLARTNG AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY QF EUGENE DQES ORDAIN ,AS F4LLQWS:
Section 1. Section 3.255 of th,e Eugene Cade, 1971, is hereby
amended to provide.
3.255 Garbs e Haulin -Financial Statements. Garbage haulers
shall provide the council, or its designee, with such
financial information as the council or its designee deems neces-
sary or desirable in order to consider a schedule of charges for
garbage hauling. Each licensed garbage hauler shall submit the
required financial information to a certified public accountant
selected by the garbage haulers and approved by the council or
its designee.. The accountant shall compile the required infor-
mation in cooperation with the finance officer, using a format
for compiling the information approved by the finance officer,
and from the compiled information prepare a report to the council.
Section 2. That the provisions contained herein concern the
public welfare and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist, and this Qrdinance .shall become effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
