THE CITY OF EUGENE D4E5 GRDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subsection ~3~ of Section 5.990 of the Eugene Code, 19 71 is hereby amended, and a new subsection ~..7 } is hereby added thereto, to provide: 5.990 Penalties - Specific. ~ 3 ~. Violation of sect~,ans 5 , 2 20 to 5.2 80 ~ except sec- tion 5.232 and subsection ~3} of section 5,233, 5.305 to 5.315, 5.375, 5.395 to 5.525, or 5.705 is punishable by a fine not to exceed $50.00, ~7} Violation of section 5.232 is punishable by a fine not to exceed $200.00. Section 6. The fallowing fees, deposits and charges for rental of parking meter hoods are hereby established; Deposit Schedule 1 Hood $50.00 1 to 4 Hoods $50.00 + $45 for each hood over 1 5 to 9 Hoods $230 + $40 for each hood over 5 10 and up $390 -~ $35 for each hood over 10 Lost, Defaced or Unusable Schedule Hood $10 each Padlock $ 2 each Keys $ 1 each Rental Schedule Per Day* Per week Per Month Per 3 Months Per Year $ 5 per hood $ 18 peg hood $ 40 per hood $ 95 per hood $275 per hood *Per Day or Per week is interpreted to mean Monday through Saturday, excluding legal holidays. 3' ., L ., T ., ... Except as otherwise specifically provided herein, all fees and charges shall become effective on January l of each year for which a fee is established, e.~cept the fees for 1950, which shall become effective February 1, 1980, with charges for the Performing Arts Center Garage to become effective when it is completed and avail- able for use and occupancy. All ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed as of midnight, January 31, 1950. Section 8. That the provisions contained herein concern the public welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby de- Glared to exist, and this Ordinance shall be effective as of midnight on January 3l, 1980.
