AN QRDZNANCE CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT of PARKS
AND RECREATIGN~ AMENDING SECTION 2.812 OF THE
EUGENE . CODE , 19 71; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
THE CITY aF EUGENE DQES aRDAIN AS F4LLOwS;
~Sectian 1.
The heading of Section 2.$12 of the Eugene Code,
1971, is hereby amended, and a new subsection ~4} added thereto,
to read and provide
2.812 Department of Parks and Recreation -- Authorization,
Violation.
~4} Na person shall violate a park rule adapted
pursuant to Sections 2.812 to 2.817.
Section 2.
That the provisions contained herein concern the
public welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this~Ord~inance shall become effective immedi--
ately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the
Mayor.
