AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN
DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:

Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 8.813, 9.278 and
9.56.8 through 9.584 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the
authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to
change the zoning and sign district classification of property within the City°
of Eugene;. ~ ~ ..
Based upon the .resort. of the Planning Co~;mi ssi on, the mater? al s trans-
mi tied therew i th,~ and the e~~ i Bence presented, before the Planning Cor~r~i ssi on and
this Counci 1, t~-e regl~es a for zone change and sign district change of c1 ass i

change in ?ore; and the pu~li=: need can best be served by changing. the classi-

notes of January 28, 1980, and the Planning Co~nmi scion minutes of January 28,
198x, for .the reasons set f arth there~"n, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DQES ORDAIN AS FOLLO'~IS;
Section 1.. As provided~by Section 9.278 and 8.625 of the Eugene Code,
1971, the zoning map, the sign district .map, and the zoning ordinance schedule
of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to ref 1 ec t the fo 11 owi ng change of zone and sign district : .
The southern portion of Tax Lot 200---Assessor's Map 17-04-2 4.
. As more parti cut arly described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 ocated
.west of Gaodpasture Island Road, generally south of K~-Mart, and north of
.the intersection of valley River Drive and Goodpasture Island Raad.
Change of zone from County AGT, Agricultural , Grazing, and Timber Raising
