AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.275 and 9,668
through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority
and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change
the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene;
Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n con-
formance with the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the change i n zone;
and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the
property;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes
of March 4, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of March 4, 1980, for the
reasons set forth therein, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provided by Section 9,278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the
zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the fallowing change of zone:
Tax Lots 2302, 2306, 2307, 2308, 23D9--Assessor's Map 17-03-20-1 0,
as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A", located
west of Coburg Road, north of Wi 11 akenzi a Road, and east of Sheldon
Parksi de Development
Change of zone from RA Suburban Residential District to RP/SR
Residential Professional District with Site Review Procedures ,
said site review procedures addressing concerns as set forth i n
Exhibit "B", attached.
Section 2. The Planning Director be and i s hereby authorized and directed
to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes
attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to show the foregoing

or shopping, as the case may be.
4. Sign and illumination in scale and harmony with the site and area according
to City of Eugene Sign Code.
5. Safe and efficient ingress, egress, and on~si to traffic circulation, with
particular emphasis on Coburg Road cuts.
