THE CITY Cvi'~~GIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
. Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 2~~.Z15 and Sections 9.278 and 9.G6$
through 9.554 of the Eugene Cade, 1971., the City Council has the authority
and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to chap e

Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this City Council , the ~reguest .for ~ zone change classification i s i n con- .
forrnance w~ ~h the General Plan; there i s a publ is need for the change in zone
and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the
property;
NOW,, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes
of April 1, 198D, and the Planning Commission minutes of Aril 1 1980 far th

ons set forth ~here~ n, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES~ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
.Section 1. As provided by Section 9.78 of the Eugene Code, 19T1, the
zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the fallowing change of zone:
Tax Lot 5o0--Assessor's Map 17-04-35-4 3, as mare particularly described
an the attached exhibit A, lcoated north of .18th Avenue between Acarn Park
and Oak Patch Road.
Change in zone from RA Suburban Residential District to R-2/PD Limited
Multiple-Far~ily Residential District with Planned Unit Development prow

Section ~. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed
to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule~of district changes
attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to show the foregoing
