I. 86 39 AN ORDINANCE CONCERN2NG THE URBAN RENE~~AL AGENCY of THE C=TY OF EUGE~'E, OREGON; AMENDING RESOLUTION N0, 1433; AMENDING SECTION 2,013 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY* The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: Resolution No. 1433 adopted by the Counc~.l qn July l0, 1967 created the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugener Oregon ~Agency~ and provided for the number and terms of off ice of its mem- hers. The membership of the Agency board should be increased at this time from seven to nine, with two of the members to be City Councilors. Now,~thexefore, based upon the above findings, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDA2N AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Resolution No. 1433 adopted by the Council on July 10, 1967 is hereby amended by increasing the membership of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene, Oregon from seven to nine mem-~ hers, with two of those ~ne~bers t~ be Eugene City Councilors appont- ed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council A Councilor so appoint- ed shall serve fox a term of four years unless earlier terminated by reason of the expixatipn Qf the Councilors term off' office as a City Councilor. Section 2. pursuant to the authority of ORS 457.045 and the Charter, ordinances and Resolutions of the City the establishment of the Urban Renewal Agency of the pity of Eugene, Oregon, and all other provisions of Resolution No. 1433 adopted by the Council on July 10 , 19 6 7 nct speci.f i,cal ly mended herein, are hereby reaf f ~.rmed . ordinance - 1 18639 Section 3.
