RECITALS: The Gity Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution No. 3Q3] ,adapted QCtaber 25, 19 7$ ,determine to pave streets, construct sanitary sewer, storm sewer and pedestrian way within Jud~Cins Heights Subdivision; and sanitary sewer to serve the area within 160 feet of the East, Forth and West Boundaries The City Council authorized the execution of a contract for the construction of the local improvements on ~~1 ~ y ~ ~ , lg ~~ ; The local improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and applicable provisions of the Eugene City Code and the cost thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be: Item 1. D~......_ Ordinance - 1 18663 The City Council has established the method of calculating local improvement assessments in Sections 1.]70 through 7.180 of the Eugene City Code; and Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the Eugene City Gode, and the City Council has heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and has fu11y considered them. THE CITY QE EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOIIOWS: Section 1. That the total cost of pa~i ng, sanitary sewer, storm ' sewer and pedestrian way wi':~hin Judkins Heights Subdivision; and sanitary sewer to serve the area within 160 feet of the East, North and West boundaries. {Jab #1482 in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ 596,494.77 , aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set apposite, respectively. Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefare set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City Liens, a statement thereof containing the fallowing: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement. Second: The name of the owner ar reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown. Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the said docket of City Liens. Section ~.
