RECITALS: The City Council of the City of Eugene did by Resolution Na. 3Q4~ , adapted NoVeCllber S, l9 78 , determ;ne to construct sanitary sewer in Arcadia Street from 400 feet North of Harlow Road to 1500 feet North of Harlow Raad. The City Counci] authorized the execution of a contract for the construction of the local improvements on September ~ , 1g79 ; The local improvements have been constructed in accordance with the contract and applicable provisions of the Eugene City Cade and the cost thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be: Item 1. City's Share of Cost far Completed Contract: Unpaid Balance of Fund No. Cit 's Share Ordinance - 1 5667 The City Council has established the method of calculating laca1 improvement assessments in Sections l.l1D through 1.18D of the Eugene City Code; and Notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property has been heretofore duly and regularly given in compliance with the provisions of Chapter 7 of the Eugene City Code, and the City Council has heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and has fu11y considered them. THE CITY OF EUGEP~E DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the total cost of sanitary sewer in Arcadia Street from ee~ North of Hari ow Road to 1500 feet North of Harlow Road. (Job #1C81} in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~ 3,389.12 , aforesaid, which is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land yr lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefi tted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of tats or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City liens, a statement thereof containing the following: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement. Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown. Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same i n the said Jacket of City liens. Section ~.
