AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING; AMENDING SECTION
5.990 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND DECLARING AN
E~~~ERGENCY .
T~~E CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAI~1 AS FQL~OWS
Section 1. Subsection ~7~ of Section 5.990 of the Eugene Code,
1971, is hereby amended to provide:
5.990 Penalties _ Specific.
~7~ Violation of section 5.32 is punishable by:
~a~ A fine not to exceed $~0 for the first
violation;
~b~ A fine not to exceed $30 far the second
violation by the same individual;
Cc ~ A f ine not to exceed $ 4 0 fox the third
violation by the same individual;
~d} A fine not to exceed $50 for the fourth
violation by the same individual; and
~e~ A fine not to exceed $100 far the fifth
and subsequent violations by the same individual.
Section 2. That the provisions contained herein concern the
public welfare and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist, and the provisions of this Ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
