An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described
street, to--wit:
Beginning at the. southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 1,
CRESTVTEVI ADDITION as platted and recorded in Book
16, Page 21, Lane County Plat Records, Lane County,
Oregon; thence south S9°46'04" west along the south
boundary of said Lot 3 ~~northerly margin of proposed
vacated street} 190.9 feet more or less to a po~,nt
40.00 feet easterly parallel and perpendicular to
the centerline of Willamette Street; thence southerly
along a line parallel to the centerline of ~Tillamette
Street 50 feet to a point on the northerly boundary
of Lot 1, Block 4, of the above described plat, said
paint being on the Southerly margin of the proposed
vacated street; thence north 89°46'00" east along
this southerly margin 190.9 feet more or less to a
point which is in alignment with the westerly margin
of Oak Street; thence northerly 50 feet to the point
of beginning, all in Eugene, Zane County,4regon.
RESERVING herein a public utility and bikeway ease-
ment on the ground, above the ground, and beneath
the ground across the northerly 10 feet of the above
described property, and the right to enter thereon
for the purposes of construction, reconstruction

THE CITY QF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein ini-
tiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without peti-
tion or consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute,
of the above described street.
Section 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate
the street as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held on the
17th day of Septe~tber, 1950, at noon, Pacific Daylight Time of said
date, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which
time all persons will be heard upon objections or suggestions with
regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council will provide

for the vacation of the street or deny such vacations and in case
the vacation is modes will provide and make provision for any dam-
ages sustained by local assessment.
5ectian 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immediately
publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper pub-
lisped in Eugene, Lane County, Cregons notice of the proposed vaca-~
tian. The notice shall give a descriptipn Qf the area to be vacated
as herein set out; state the date when this ordinance was passed, the
name of any petitioners petitioning for the vacation, and the date
when the petition, together with any objections Qr remonstrances which
may be made in writing and .filed with the Recorder of the City of
Eugene prior to the date of the hearing, will be heard and considered.
Section 4. The City Recorder shall forthwith and within five
days after the first publication of the notice posts or cause to be
posteds at ar near each end of the proposed vacation a copy of the
foregoings which shall be headed "notice of Street Vacations" and
which notice shall be posted in at least two. conspicuous places in or
on the area proposed to be vacated.
The posting and the first day of publication of the notice shall
be not less than twenty-eight ~28~ days before the time set for hear-
ing.

To ALL PERSONS WI~OM ZT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a meet~,ng o~ the City Council
of the City of Eugene, held at the Council Chambers at City Hall,
Eugene, Oregon, on the 30th day of suly, 1980, there was passed
by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Eugene,
Lane County, Oregon, an Ordinance setting a hearing to be held on
the 17th day of September, 1980, at 12:40 noon, Pacific Daylight Time,
at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, for the pur-
pose of hearing remonstrances and protests against the vacation by
Ordinance of the City Council of the following:
Beginning. at the southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 1,
CRESTVTEW ADDITION as platted and recorded in Book
16, Page 2l, Lane County Plat Records, Lane County,
Oregon; thence south 89°46'00"~ west along the south
boundary of said Lot 3 :northerly margin of proposed
vacated streets 190.9 feet more or less to a point

along aline parallel to the centerline of Willamette

The City Council will consider and act upon the proposed vaca-
tion on the 17th day of September, 198x,. at 12.00 o~clock noon,

Oregon, and will consider an Ordinance vacating the above. All per-
sons having objections thereto or remonstrances or protests are
hereby notified to present the same to the City Council in writing
