AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP of THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY CDUNCIE 4F THE CITY DF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.fifi8
through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority
and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change
the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene;

Based upon the report of the Pl anni nq Commission, the materials trans--~
.mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in cones
formance with the General Plan; there is a public need far the change in pane;
aid the publ ic, need. can best be served by changing the c1 assif ication of the
property; ~ .
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes
of May 6, May 19, June 9, June 23, and September~22, 1980, and the Planning
Commission minutes of May 6, May 19, June 9,` June 23, and September 22,. 1980,
for the reasons set forth therein, and

zoning map and the ionina ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby
amended to reflect the following change of zone:
