AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND
AMENDING THE zONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT:
Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9,668
through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authorit
and responsibi1it sub'ect to the 1i y

the zoning class~f~cat7on of property within the City of Eu ene;

Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-
m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission
and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con-
formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the than a in zone•

property;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the
specific affirmative findings contained in the Plannin De artment staff not
of October 7 1980 g p es
and the Planning Commission minutes of October 7, 1980,
for the reasons set forth there7n, and
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971 the
zoning map and the zon~nq ordinance schedule of district changes are hereb
amended to reflect the fol lowin ch y
q ange of lone:
Tax Lats 3598, 3599, and 36OOw-Assessor's Map 17-03-31-2 2, as more
part7cularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located on the south
side of 5th Avenue between Adams and Monroe streets.
