HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 18749ORDINANCE NO. ~~ An Ordinance vacating the following described streets and alleys , to--wit 25th Avenue between Amazon Parkway and Hilyard Street; 32nd Avenue, from the west margin of Hilyard Street west a distance of 178~feet; the alley between 32nd Avenue and 33rd Avenue, from the west margin of Hilyard Street west a dis- tance of 176.5 feet; the alley between 33rd Ave- nue and 34th Avenue from the west margin of Hil- yard Street west a distance of 176.93 feet, all as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by ref erence . ~~, i ty o f Eugene Sv 8 d - 4 } On the 26th day of November, 1980, the City Council of the City of Eugene passed Ordinan~ the 14th day of January, Eugene, Oregon, at which could be heard as to the streets and alleys. Notice was duly and ce No. 1,8?22 setting a hearing to be held on 1951, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, time and place protests and remonstrances proposed ~racation of the above described regularly gi~ren of the hearing and a hear-- ing was held pursuant to the Ordinance at th.e Council Chambers, at City Hall, Eugene., Gregvn, on the 14th day of January, 1981, at noon, Pacific Standard Time, and at said time and place the Council heard all objections. All persons owning property abutting upon the streets and alleys to be vacated have consented to the vacation and applied for the same. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and regular notice of the hearing was publ~.shed and posted as by law required and no valid objections have been made at the hearing Ordinance -- 1 187N~y or filed. The consent of the owners of the abutting property has been duly and regularly filed in the proceedings and the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of the streets and alleys. Section 2. The hearing was held on the loth day of ~`anuary, 1981, at noon, Pacific Standard Time, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, Eugene, Lane County, Gregon, and all matters necessary to be done in the premises have been duly and regularly completed. Section 3. The hereinabove described streets and alleys are hereby vacated, and the streets and alleys s4 vacated shall revert pursuant to the statutes of the State of Qregon. Section 4. The City Recorder is hereby directed to file a cer- o f ied copy of this prdinance with the Recorder of Lane County, Oregon, together with a~map or plat of said property, and a certified copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County Assessor and another certified copy shall be filed with the Lane County Sur- veyor.
