HomeMy WebLinkAbout221121 PHMINUTES Eugene City Council Public Hearing Eugene, Oregon 97401 November 21, 2022 5:30 p.m. Councilors Present: Emily Semple, Matt Keating, Alan Zelenka, Jennifer Yeh, Mike Clark, Greg Evans, and Randy Groves Mayor Vinis opened the November 21, 2022 public hearing of the Eugene City Council in a hybrid format at 101 W 10 th Avenue, Suite 114, Eugene OR 97401. 1. PUBLIC HEARING -An Ordinance Extending the Term of Ordinance No. 19775 and Ordinance No. 20397 Granting to Comcast of Oregon II, Inc. a Franchise for Operation of a Cable Telecommunications System. Mayor Vinis opened the Public Hearing. 1. John Smith Mayor Vinis closed the Public Hearing. 2. PUBLIC HEARING -An Ordinance Concerning Interfering with a Peace Officer and Amending Section 4.907 of the Eugene Code, 1971. Mayor Vinis opened the Public Hearing. 1. Sara Alvarez -spoke in favor of the ordinance. Mayor Vinis closed the Public Hearing. 3. PUBLIC HEARING -An Ordinance Concerning Regulations for Commercial and Industrial Noise; Amending Section 6.750 of the Eugene Code, 1971; and Adding Section 6. 7 52 to that Code. Mayor Vinis opened the Public Hearing. 1. Sara Mazze -spoke in favor of the ordinance. 2. Mary "Sam" Marshall -spoke in favor of the ordinance. 3. Grace Parsons -spoke in favor of the ordinance. 4.
