City Council President opened the April 8, 2024, work session of the Eugene City Council in a
hybrid format at 101 W 10th Avenue, Eugene OR 97401.
1. Interviews: Applicant Statements for 2024 Annual Boards and Commissions
Recruitment
City councilors heard from applicants for open positions on the City's advisory boards and
commissions. Each candidate gave a prepared statement about their interest in and
qualifications for the position they applied for.

Council Discussion:
■ Councilor Zelenka -inquired about the process for candidates who were not able to
attend; asked how the new rule limiting membership to one council-appointed position on
a board or commission will affect those currently serving.
